Gordon Samuel David Parry, Baron Parry, was a British teacher, politician, and activist born on November 30, 1925, in Narberth, Pembrokeshire. He was a member of the Labour Party and served as the chairman of the Wales Tourist Board. Parry was an advocate for nature and environmental protection projects. He was made a Life Peer in 1976 under the Life Peerages Act 1958, becoming a member of the House of Lords. He passed away on September 1, 2004, in Llangwm, Pembrokeshire.
