Roland Goossens, better known as Gos, is a Belgian comic artist and author born on March 1, 1937. He gained prominence for his work in the comic series Jeff Jordan and created the semi-funny series Le Scrameustache. After serving eleven years in the Navy, he started working with Peyo in 1965, contributing to projects like The Smurfs. He made his breakthrough in 1970 with Jeff Jordan and launched Le Scrameustache in 1972, which follows the adventures of a boy named Khena and a small furry pilot. The series resulted in 44 albums by 2019.
