Gösta Sandberg (1915-1995) was a Swedish textile artist, painter, draftsman, educator, and author, renowned for his expertise in batik, silkscreen, and textile printing. He studied under Hjalmar Eldh in Gothenburg and later became a faculty member at Konstfackskolan. Sandberg's works included tapestries for churches and various exhibitions across Sweden and internationally. He published several books on textile art and natural dyeing, significantly contributing to the field. His extensive collection of textiles was donated to the Museum of World Culture in Gothenburg after his passing.
