Gotzon Aulestia Txakartegi (1930-2003) was a prominent musician from Ondarroa, Bizkaia. He was an organist, choir conductor, and educator, having studied Humanities, Philosophy, and Theology. A student of notable composer Escudero, he later taught Composition and Harmony at the Donostia Conservatory, where he led the Electroacoustic Laboratory. Aulestia served as the organist at the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd from 1983 to 1993 and was recognized with several awards in choir competitions.
