Graham Ashton is a British-born, naturalized American trumpeter and composer known for his contributions to brass music. He established the Graham Ashton Brass Ensemble in London in 1989 and later reformed it in New York City with accomplished brass players. Besides his original compositions, Ashton actively promotes new works by other composers for the trumpet. Since 1999, he has been serving as the Professor of Trumpet and Chair of Brass at Purchase College, enhancing the education of emerging musicians.
