Greg Barnhisel is an American literary scholar, born on December 9, 1969. He earned his Bachelor's degree at Reed College in 1992, followed by a Master's degree at New York University in 1995, and completed his Ph.D. at the University of Texas at Austin in 1999. Since 2003, he has been teaching at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. His research primarily focuses on modern American literature, with a particular interest in book and publishing history.
