Lieutenant General Gregory Charles Bilton, born on 2 March 1965, is a retired senior officer of the Australian Army. He began his service in 1983 after attending the Royal Military College, Duntroon, and was commissioned in the Royal Australian Artillery. Bilton commanded various units, including the 104th Field Battery and 7th Brigade, and has deployed to operations in Sinai and Afghanistan. He held several important positions, including Deputy Commanding General – Operations for the US Army Pacific and Chief of Joint Operations until July 2024.
