Greg Lake was an English singer, songwriter, musician, composer, and producer, born on November 10, 1947, in Dorset. He began his music career in 1966, initially as a singer and guitarist for the rock band King Crimson. He later joined the supergroup Emerson, Lake & Palmer and also enjoyed a successful solo career, notably achieving hit success in 1975 with the song 'I Believe in Father Christmas.' Lake was influential in the progressive rock genre before passing away on December 7, 2016.
