Greg McCortney, born on May 30, 1974, is an American politician representing Oklahoma's 13th district in the Senate since 2016. He previously served on the Ada City Council and was elected mayor twice. A former Christian minister and healthcare business owner, McCortney became majority floor leader in 2021 and was set to succeed Greg Treat as President pro tempore in 2024 before losing his reelection bid in June 2024 to Jonathan Wingard.
