Gregorio Parra García is a Spanish sports journalist born on September 5, 1946, in Águilas, Murcia. He specialized in athletics and began his career as an intern in 1968 at Radio Nacional de España before moving to Televisión Española. For three decades, he covered athletic events and participated in eight Olympic Games, becoming RTVE's most senior commentator. He often collaborated with José Luis González in his broadcasts. His last transmission occurred on September 10, 2006, shortly before his name appeared in a redundancy employment file at the public TV station.
