Grigoris Farakos was a Greek politician and writer born on January 11, 1923, in Nafplio and passed away on March 23, 2007, in Athens. He served as the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) from July 1989 to February 1991 and was a member of the Greek parliament representing KKE and later Synaspismos. Additionally, he was the director of the newspaper 'Rizospastis'.
