Grigory Nikolayevich Baghdasarov is a prominent veterinarian born on February 16, 1929, in Tbilisi, Georgian SSR, USSR. He earned the title of Doctor of Agricultural Sciences in 1974 and became a professor in 1976. Baghdasarov was elected a corresponding member of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences in 1999 and later recognized as an honored professor by the same institution in 2002. In addition, he has been awarded an honorary professorship at the State Veterinary and Animal Husbandry University of Georgia in 2002.
