Gro Anita Schønn was a Norwegian singer born on January 28, 1950, in Drammen. She made her solo debut in 1967 and released eight albums between 1970 and 1980. Schønn had several popular songs, including 'En enkel sang om frihet' in 1971 and 'Eviva España' in 1973. She was also part of the musical trio Treff, alongside Inger Lise Rypdal and Stein Ingebrigtsen, which produced 21 cover albums during the 1970s. She passed away from pneumonia on April 24, 2001.
