Guangyu Zhou (February 17, 1944 – November 12, 2001) was a factory worker from Xinchang County, Zhejiang Province. He died heroically at Nanjing Railway Station while trying to stop a robber armed with a knife. Zhou was fatally stabbed during the confrontation. In recognition of his bravery, he was posthumously awarded several honors, including the title of 'National Advanced Individual in Acts of Heroism', the National May 1st Labor Medal, and recognized as a Revolutionary Martyr.
