Gulab Singh Thakur is an Indian politician from the Bharatiya Janata Party, born on May 29, 1948, in Jogindernagar, Mandi district. He served as the former Speaker of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly. He was elected as an MLA from the Jogindernagar constituency multiple times as a candidate of various parties including the Janata Party and Indian National Congress. Notably, he was unanimously elected as the Speaker on March 30, 1988. His daughter is married to Anurag Thakur, a Member of Parliament from Hamirpur and son of former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal.
