Gülden Turalı was a prominent Turkish violinist, born on March 6, 1936 in Ankara. She made history as the first female concertmaster in Turkey. From 1973 until her passing in 2002, she shared the role of concertmaster at the Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra with Yusuf Güler Aksöz. Throughout her career, she also dedicated time to education, teaching violin at Mimar Sinan University State Conservatory from 1974 to 1992, influencing many students in the field of music.
