Gülşad Baxşıyeva is an Azerbaijani actress born on December 12, 1952, in Kürdəxanı. She is recognized as a Meritorious Artist of the Azerbaijan SSR since 1982. Baxşıyeva is the head of the 'Drama Theater and Film Actor' department at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, where she also serves as a professor. Furthermore, she is a recipient of a personal scholarship from the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
