Gunnar Jens Brandt Oxaal was a Norwegian journalist and author born on December 26, 1918, and died on May 23, 1960. He served as an editorial secretary at Teknisk Ukeblad from 1946 to 1958. In 1951, he co-founded the Norwegian Interplanetary Society with Erik Bergaust and Thorstein Thelle. In 1959, he was an editor for the popular ten-volume children's book series 'Mitt skattkammer', alongside other notable individuals such as Olaf Coucheron and Alf Prøysen.
