Guro Sandsdalen (born December 20, 1916, in Flatdal; died September 13, 2000) was a Norwegian author. She debuted in 1972 with 'Dagbok frå ein drabantby', a book about life in the suburb of Klyve in Skien municipality where she lived. She later published two poetry collections, a novel titled 'Asle og Frida', and a self-published booklet called 'Juksebøn' containing autobiographical stories. A memorial fund was established in her honor to annually award the Guro Sandsdalens literature prize to a younger author committed to developing and promoting Nynorsk literature.
