Guy Carleton Swan III, born on January 28, 1954, is a retired U.S. Army officer. His last assignment was as the commander of the U.S. Army North at Fort Sam Houston in Texas. He grew up in the Pine Lakes neighborhood and attended Wayne Hills High School. Swan served as the deputy in the G3 (operations) division in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq during Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm. He also held the position of executive officer for the 1st Squadron in Kuwait during Operation Positive Force.
