Gyan Singh is an Indian politician from Madhya Pradesh, born in Kohka, Umaria district. He first entered politics with the Praja Socialist Party in 1966 and later served as President of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh. Singh was elected to the Lok Sabha in 1996 and held various positions including Minister of State for Forests and Jails. He was a member of the 7th Vidhan Sabha from Shahdol in 1980 and served as minister for Tribal Welfare from 2003 to 2016, returning to Lok Sabha in 2016 as a BJP candidate.
