Habiba Sarabi (born 1956) is an Afghan hematologist and politician who has played a significant role in the reconstruction of Afghanistan following the Taliban's first takeover. In 2005, she became the governor of Bamyan Province, making her the first Afghan woman to hold a provincial governorship. She has served as Afghanistan's Minister of Women's Affairs and the Minister of Culture and Education, actively working to promote women's rights and representation, as well as contributing to environmental issues. She is of Hazara ethnicity.
