Hadass Ophrat, born on December 28, 1950, is an interdisciplinary Israeli artist who began his career as a puppeteer, director, and stage designer. Since the 1990s, he has focused on performance art, sculpture, and media installations. He has exhibited solo shows in various notable institutions including the Israel Museum and the Haifa Museum of Art. Ophrat has participated in numerous performances both locally and internationally, including at the Israel Festival. He has also directed visual theater and puppet shows, published books on performance art, and urbanism.
