Håkon Rege is a Norwegian politician born on 30 September 1955, notable for his association with the Progress Party and the Conservative Party. He served as the first mayor of Sola from 1988 to 1989 and was later re-elected mayor from 1999 to 2011, with re-elections in 2003 and 2007. After resigning from the Progress Party in 1995, he transitioned to the Conservative Party. In 2010, he announced his decision not to seek re-election for the local elections in 2011, and was succeeded by his nephew, Ole Ueland.
