He graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1948 and worked in various government medical positions. He was a founding member of the Büyük Doğu Movement and served as a member of the Turkish Parliament from Afyonkarahisar from 1961 to 1965. Baki conducted cancer and radiology research in Switzerland, France, and England, and was also known for his studies and publications in Islamic sciences.
