Halvor Kleppen, born on September 3, 1947, in Bø, Telemark, is a Norwegian media personality, theme park owner, and writer. He started his career at the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation in 1973, later presenting the show Sumarteltet in 1982. Awarded TV personality of the year that same year, he thereafter freelanced and hosted the show Starshot on TVNorge. Co-owner of Bø Sommarland, he has authored several books focusing on local history and skiing. He completed a master's degree at Telemark University College in 2007.
