Hamid Ghanbari (born April 15, 1924 – died September 29, 2007) was a voice actor, shadow puppeteer, and one of the first Iranian pop singers. His artistic career began in 1951 with the film 'Dastkesh Sefid' and included founding an acting academy, establishing the Film Artists Association, radio voice acting, and stage acting. He was the father of Shahyar Ghanbari, an Iranian songwriter and singer residing in America. He passed away in Tehran and was buried in the Artists' section of Behesht Zahra.
