Hamid Majid Mousa, also known as Abu Dawood, is the Secretary of the Central Committee of the Iraqi Communist Party. He has been a part of the party's student cadres and has led the Central Committee since the Fifth Conference focusing on renewal and democracy in 1993 in Kurdistan, Iraq. He was re-elected at the Sixth Conference in 1997, the Seventh in 2001, and the Eighth Conference in 2007 in Baghdad following the US invasion of Iraq.
