Hani El-Nazer was an esteemed Egyptian scientist and former president of the National Research Center. He earned various degrees including Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Medicine, and two Master's degrees in medicinal plants and dermatology. In 1973, he participated in the October War. He is notable for discovering a safe and effective treatment for psoriasis in 1993, transforming the Red Sea area into a global health destination. El-Nazer passed away in February 2024 after battling lymphoma.
