Hanne Kragh Sommer, born on December 23, 1939, in Hillerød, was one of Denmark's first television announcers. She gained prominence during the early days of television in Denmark as one of the first female presenters for Danmarks Radio. Prior to her broadcasting career, she studied Danish and French at the University of Copenhagen. After the announcer role was discontinued in 1971, she returned to radio. Hanne also appeared in feature films such as 'Don Olsen kommer til byen' (1964) and 'Det var en lørdag aften' (1968). She is buried in Lundeborg Cemetery in Gudme, Funen.
