Known for his compositions, particularly 'So hemmers gera,' he released over 30 records and frequently performed with accordionists and a bass player. He contributed to the Swiss folk music scene and moderated local radio shows, being the correspondent for Graubünden on Swiss Radio DRS 1. He passed away on July 23, 2016, in Trimmis.
