Harald Antonius Ovesen (1916–1977) was a Norwegian resistance fighter and a member of the Shetland bus during World War II. He is known for his significant contributions, receiving the War Cross for his bravery. During the German occupation, Ovesen became part of the Norwegian forces in Britain and joined the special unit known as the Shetland bus. He undertook numerous secret missions across the North Sea, transporting soldiers, spies, refugees, and military supplies. Ovesen completed 41 missions aboard the 'Hitra' in the winters of 1943-44 and 1944-45.
