Harald Rajamets (born 13 May 1924) was an Estonian translator and poet. He was born into a peasant family and served in the German army during World War II. After the war, he was a prisoner of war in Germany, Belgium, and France. He began studying Finno-Ugric languages at Tartu University in 1947 but left due to threats of repression. In 1951, he worked at the newspaper Kaevur in Kohtla-Järve, and from 1951 to 1956, he lived in Ukraine and Kamchatka, working as a manual laborer.
