Harish Chandra Sarin (May 27, 1914 - January 27, 1997) was an Indian civil servant, writer, and the Secretary of Defence of India. He served as Defence Secretary from November 3, 1968, to December 7, 1970. Sarin authored a book titled 'Defense and Development' focusing on the enhancement of the country's defense system. Additionally, he was associated with all mountaineering institutions in India.
