Harmen M. Krul, born on May 19, 1994, is a Dutch politician affiliated with the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA) and a former officer in the Royal Netherlands Navy. Raised in Den Helder, he joined the Royal Naval College in 2013, eventually becoming a lieutenant. In 2018, at the age of 23, Krul was elected to the Den Helder Municipal Council, later serving as vice chair. He sought a position in the House of Representatives in 2021 but was appointed in February 2023 after a resignation.
