Harris Eghagha (1934-2009) was a Nigerian general and military governor of Ogun State from July 1978 to October 1979. He was born in Mereje, Delta State. Eghagha played a minor role in the 1966 coup and oversaw significant developments in Ogun State, including the establishment of the Ogun State Polytechnic, industrial estates, and improved infrastructure. He also served as Acting Governor of Sokoto and Kwara States, and worked as Nigeria's High Commissioner to Ghana. Eghagha passed away on 19 March 2009 at age 75.
