Harrison Brown (September 26, 1917 – December 8, 1986) was an American nuclear chemist and geochemist known for his involvement in the Manhattan Project during World War II, where he developed techniques for separating plutonium from uranium. He later became an activist, lecturing and writing on issues such as arms control, resource depletion, and world hunger. His work on plutonium separation contributed to the development of the bomb used in Nagasaki. Post-war, he became an outspoken critic of nuclear weapons.
