Edmund Harry Botterell (1906–1997) was a prominent Canadian neurosurgeon and academic leader. He served as a neurophysiology instructor at the University of Toronto and held the position of Head of Neurosurgery at Toronto General Hospital from 1953 to 1962. From 1962 to 1970, he was Dean of the School of Medicine at Queen's University and later served as Vice Principal of Faculty of Health Sciences. In recognition of his contributions, he received the Order of Canada in 1978, and Botterell Hall at Queen's University is named in his honor.
