Harry Koster was an Indo-Dutch musician and one of the pioneers of Indorock. Born on May 16, 1932, in Klaten, Nederlands-Indië, he became known for his versatility with several musical instruments, particularly as a saxophonist and guitarist. He served as the bandleader of The Black Dynamites from 1960 to 1965 and was the guitarist for Los Indonesios from 1965 to 1977. Koster played a significant role in the development of the Indorock genre before he passed away on April 16, 2012, in Den Haag.
