Haruo Chikada, born on February 25, 1951, is a Japanese musician, composer, music producer, music critic, and talent. He serves as a professor at the Kyoto Seika University in the Department of Popular Culture. He is known by various aliases including Haruchika Chikao and Duke Kashiwabuchi, among others. Chikada is also a member of the CM song composition unit Komoro Tetsuya and CM Network. He hails from Tokyo and dropped out from Keio University. His ex-wife is stylist Mariko Chikada.
