Hayk Sarkisyan is an Armenian physicist born on June 2, 1972, in Yerevan, Armenian SSR, USSR. He is known for his work in the fields of semiconductors and low-dimensional systems. Sarkisyan earned his Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences in 2005 and became a professor in 2010. Currently, he heads the Department of General Physics and Quantum Nanostructures at the Armenian-Russian University. In 2022, he was recognized as an Honored Figure of Science in Armenia.
