Hayrettin Karaca (April 4, 1922 – January 20, 2020) was a Turkish industrialist and environmental activist. Born to Crimean immigrant parents, he transformed the family's textile trade into one of Turkey's most successful industrial enterprises. He established Turkey's first private arboretum and collected seeds from around the world, creating a renowned botanical garden in Yalova. His work focuses on environmental preservation, with his arboretum serving as a genetic conservation center for endangered species. A dedicated philanthropist, he was also a co-founder of the TEMA Foundation.
