Heather R. Mizeur is an American politician known for her service in the Maryland House of Delegates, representing the 20th district from 2007 to 2015. She ran for governor of Maryland in 2014 but lost in the Democratic primary. Mizeur also sought election to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2022, challenging incumbent Andy Harris in Maryland's 1st congressional district. Despite her efforts, she was defeated in the general election by an 11-point margin. Mizeur remains a notable figure in Maryland politics.
