Juha Heikki Holma, born on December 24, 1945, in Helsinki, is a retired Finnish major general. He served as a military observer for the United Nations in Iran, as the head of the Eastern Defense Area's department, and as the head of the international department of the General Staff. Holma graduated from the National Defence University in 1981 and was promoted to colonel in 1994, brigadier general in 1999, and major general in 2003. He has also been the chairman of the Peacekeepers' Association and authored two histories of the organization.
