Heino Sõna was an Estonian kantele player, born on February 5, 1937, in Urvaste vald, Võrumaa, and passed away on December 10, 2019. He began his music career in the 1950s and 1960s in Otepää and later lived in Karksi-Nuia. Sõna was known for his traditional kantele playing, and he was also the first electric kantele player in Estonia. He participated in projects for preserving and documenting folk music and taught in a home education project for folk instruments.
