Helen Rollason (March 11, 1956 – August 9, 1999) was a British sports journalist and television presenter. She was the first female presenter of BBC's Grandstand in 1990 and worked on various sports programs including 'Friday Sport' and children's show 'Newsround'. Born in London, she initially trained as a physical education teacher before transitioning to broadcasting in 1980. Despite battling colon cancer from 1997 until her death, Rollason continued to work and was recognized for her contributions to sports broadcasting, receiving a posthumous award from the BBC in her honor.
