Helen Jean Tronstad, born on December 27, 1952, in New York, is a Swedish meteorologist and weather presenter for Sveriges Television. She grew up in Solna and Spånga, just outside Stockholm, and both her parents are from Norway. Tronstad worked as a meteorologist at Arlanda and Landvetter airports, focusing on aviation weather. She joined SVT in 1998 and later became the head of its weather editorial team. Although she retired in April 2017, she made a comeback in December 2017. She also conducts lectures on climate and meteorology.
