She was also a member of the Ministry of Education's Children's Culture Group, a lecturer at Bibliotekstjänst, a reviewer for Expressen, and an author of writings on literature and libraries. She was the editor of the anthology "Min nya skattkammare" (1979). She joined Sveriges Television in 1979 and became the editor-in-chief of the children's department on TV2. In 1986, she was appointed head of the new Kanal 1's children's and youth department. She was also program manager for the general department on Kanal 1 from 1988. She left her position in 1997 due to illness. She was a partner with photographer Ove Wallin and they had a son, Mattis Sandblad, who is a photographer at Verdens Gang. She was also a partner with the head of the chancery and translator Jan Ristarp.
