Helena Slavíková was a Czech painter, graphic artist, and educator, born on April 24, 1924, in Prague. She began her artistic training during the war, attending courses under painter Josef Šilhavý. After graduating high school, she studied at the State Graphic School and later, the Academy of Fine Arts from 1945 to 1950. She established a career as an educator, founding the Hruška Fine Arts Club and teaching at an elementary art school. Renowned for her watercolor depictions of nature, she also engaged in drawing, printmaking, and ceramic modeling.
