Helenira Resende de Souza Nazareth, codename Fátima, was a Brazilian guerrilla fighter born on January 19, 1944, in Cerqueira César. A member of the Brazilian Communist Party (PCdoB), she participated in the Araguaia guerrilla movement. Helenira was investigated by the Truth Commission for her disappearance during Brazil's military dictatorship. Since 1972, she has been considered a political missing person, with her remains never found or returned to her family, preventing her from being properly buried.
